Publish and Flourish

The University of Oklahoma Writing Center began a new seminar this summer called Publish and Flourish. The faculty seminar includes 16 hours worth of workshops spread out over a three week span. Through these workshops, OU faculty have the chance to begin to grant proposals/projects or to turn presentations into articles for publication. This seminar will take place annually in June inside the Writing Center (Wagner Hall, room 280). All you have to do is call 405-325-2936 to reserve your spot.
Publish and Flourish is especially unique because it is available only to faculty. Dr. Michele Eodice, the director of the writing center, knows how difficult it is for faculty to find the time to work on their writing. Therefore, this summer workshop, lead by Dr. Eodice herself, is the perfect way to allow OU's faculty to work with the guidance of experienced writing center staff. Dr. Eodice said, "The goal of the Learning, Teaching, & Writing program is to offer support for faculty writing as well as for student writing."
