Summer R&R

The University of Oklahoma's Writing Center is hosting a "revise and resubmit" camp for the university's faculty. The camp is sponsored by Learning, Teaching, & Writing and facilitated by the University's Writing Center's faculty. Summer R&R gives faculty a chance to revise an existing document, revise and resubmit an article, and retool a rejected piece of writing. This revise and resubmit camp will be held in Wagner Hall, Room 280 from 1-3pm June 21st through the 24th. To signup for the camp, call 405-325-2936.
Summer R&R gives the faculty a chance to revive their work. Working alone, having work rejected, and not having a lot of time are three factors that can negatively influence writing. This camp will allow the writers to further their work as well as their writing confidence.
Geneva Canino, the Writing Center's Program Assistant, thinks that "Summer R&R provides an excellent means for faculty and staff to develop their own research and turn to the world of academic publication."
